There’s something about the arrival of summer that always lights a spark in me—but this year, it feels different. Summer 2025 isn’t just a season. It feels like a long-overdue exhale, a turning point, and a promise of new beginnings all rolled into one.
It’s been a while since I’ve traveled—really traveled. You know, the kind of travel where you toss your essentials into a backpack, hop on a plane or road trip with the windows down, and let spontaneity lead the way. Life has had its fair share of pauses, detours, and responsibilities lately, and while I’ve made peace with those quiet seasons, I can feel something shifting. This summer, the urge to explore is louder than ever.
Maybe it’s the clear skies, or the smell of sunscreen and saltwater that’s starting to linger in the air, but I can feel my adventurous side waking up from hibernation. I’m craving hidden beaches, winding trails, bustling markets in unfamiliar cities, and conversations with strangers that turn into stories I’ll never forget. I want to chase sunsets in places I’ve never been and eat food I can’t pronounce. I want to get lost, and find myself again, in the process.
There’s a certain magic to planning trips again—skimming through travel blogs, booking that ticket, and mapping out the places I want to see. But honestly, I’m just as excited for the unexpected moments in between. The detours. The surprises. The moments that can’t be captured on camera but live on in your memory forever.
So here’s to summer 2025: to open roads, packed bags, new stamps on the passport, and that electric feeling of heading somewhere beautiful and fun. I’m ready. Follow along to see where I go!
